The Musical Ladder system incentivizes our students towards continuous growth.
Similar to karate belt tests, every 3 months the students have achievement tests with their teachers and if they pass, they are rewarded with a fun bracelet, a certificate, and at certain levels even a trophy. It's a great way to monitor their progress, motivate them to increase practice time, and make them feel accomplished. Adult student receive CCAA gift cards that they can use towards their lessons.
Fully stocked lesson rooms.
Our rooms are stocked with everything you need for lessons. Great quality pianos, drum sets, guitars, Cajons, so all you need to bring is your instrument and get started.
We also have creative ways to keep the attention of the little ones, by using Boomwhackers, piano mats, keyboards and making music in to fun games.
Free, all inclusive recitals.
Every June and December, our students have the option of performing in our recitals. Students are not required to perform, but many choose to. Parents never have to pay admission or any related fees for these recitals.
Central location.
Our school is in a convenient, central location in the DMV area. Close to our studio, you will find great dining at La Ferme Restaurant in the quaint neighborhood of Chevy Chase village.
A comfortable waiting room for parents and accompanying young siblings.
Instead of waiting in a music retail store show room, our clients enjoy a spacious waiting room with comfortable chairs, kids toys, Wi-Fi, magazines and bottled water service. Or if you prefer, you can sit in on your childโs lesson to observe the lesson.
Month to month lessons.
The Academy does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis. If you are ready to start, we will not commit you to a long-term contract. Also, unlike most other music schools, we do not charge our students during the off-holidays.
