It's That Time of Year! Get Ready for Our Spectacular Winter Recital 2025!
Dear CCAA Community,
We are pleased to announce our 2025 Winter Recital on Saturday, December 13th (time TBD pending enrollment) at the Calvary Lutheran Church, located at 9545 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD. Please mark these dates on your calendars!
Depending on enrollment for the Winter Recital, we may have groups performing on the evening of Friday, December 12th. Please keep that evening open. We will provide an update on whether we will be including Friday performances after the registration deadline on October 22nd.
All students are encouraged to participate in this wonderful performance opportunity. We are going to have our instructors help students register during their upcoming lessons, so students/parents don't have to worry about it!
In addition, instructors will work with you to choose an appropriate piece to start rehearsing, and we are asking that students' selected choice of music be chosen by Wednesday, October 22nd, at 11:59 PM. Registration forms should be completed no later than Wednesday, October 22nd, at 11:59 PM (please no exceptions).
Please be aware that all instructors will be helping to register all of their students. So, if you are interested in participating, all you have to do is let your instructor know. However, if a student opts not to take part in the recital or will be absent, kindly inform your instructor and the front desk to ensure that the student is not registered by mistake.
Special Requests Form Deadline: Wednesday, October 22nd, at 11:59 PM: Special Request Form
If you have other commitments on the day of the recital that might affect your availability to participate, please fill out the special request form. For example, if you have a wedding that afternoon, or if you would like all your children to be in one group, fill out the form, and we will do our best to schedule you accordingly. Keep in mind that your special request is subject to approval and is not guaranteed. Please note that all of our groupings are made based on our instructors' availability; if you submit a special request, your instructor may not be present for your child's performance.
We will not be able to make any changes after the deadline, so please make it a point to submit your special request early. This policy is not personal; we simply want to ensure that the recital is well organized and planned so that it will be a spectacular event for everyone.

Rehearsals for Students Who Requested a Piano Accompanist: We will reach out to the students who will need a piano accompanist after the October 22nd deadline.
